Description

Reynolda House, a gracious mansion in Winston-Salem, was built on an expansive estate in 1917. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it presently houses a rich collection of American Art open for the public to enjoy. A selection of works by the nation's best known artistic talents form the core of this facility's permanent collection, ranging across three centuries from John Singleton Copley to Albert Bierstadt and Georgia O'Keeffe. Reynolda House also has an extensive costume collection of period attire, and the house itself is a showcase for a wealth of furnishings and decorative arts from the early 20th century. Enjoy a walk in the formal gardens and woodland associated with the estate after a museum tour.
