Description
Learn about life in the Blue Mountains in bygone days at the Mountain Gateway Museum and Heritage Center, a facility housed in a 1930's stone building by Mill Creek. Exhibits inside include artifacts, photographs and other visual displays that explore a stretch ranging from early settlement of this mountainous region to the present. Live performances and educational events take place in the outdoor ampitheater just beyond the museum,and the Old Fort train depot and Railroad Museum, renovated and open to the public, is also just a short ways away.
