A small and winding roadway through Crowders Mountain State Park, this Byway offers the traveler adventures in rock climbing and hiking along numerous mountain trails. Cresting above the surrounding hills is Pinnacle, a monadnock that refuses to be worn down by years of erosion. With a head of solid rock, Pinncacle stands out above the rest of the mountain range, and has become a beloved feature of the region.
Crowders Mountain Drive starts out in the village of Mountain View, taking Route 1125 through Crowders Mountain State Park. At Pinnacle Road, Route 1125 becomes 1104 and 2292 at Montonia Road. The path continues on Route 2292 until it meets the intersection with Route 161 and follows 161 north to its end at exit 8 of I-85.
