Description
Injured and orphaned raptors are rehabilitated at the Carolina Raptor Center, a facility whose focus is education and environmental conservation. Take a self-guided tour along the Brian Patrick Memorial Trail associated with the center for a closer look at the varied birds of prey housed here, from Barn owls and Northern harriers to Red-tailed hawks and even a Golden eagle. On weekends there is a live raptor presentation and Wild Wings Educators are on hand to talk with visitors about resident birds.
