Description
This 22 mile greenway reaching from Durham to Raleigh is a community trail running over paved and gravel surfaces. The trail is incomplete at this time in-between Durham and Raleigh, however the open sections are a paved section in Durham running downtown and most of the Wake County section which is a gravel trail running through wooded areas.
This is not a difficult or extremely strenuous hike, rather a community use trail providing a great opportunity to get out, get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Horseback riding also occurs on the trail so be weary of spooking horses.
